Daniel Christopher “D.C.” Rogers was most recently a story editor on the Netflix series Partner Track, and was previously a staff writer on the CW drama In the Dark. His feature film script Stardust won the 2019 Harvardwood Writers Competition, and placed in the top 10% of entries for the 2019 Academy Nicholl Fellowships. He is also the recipient of the 2004 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by the Cast of a Motion Picture, which he shares with the company of Sideways (directed and co-written by Alexander Payne).
In addition to his screenwriting career, D.C. is an in-demand lecturer. He is currently a lecturer in the screenwriting department at Loyola Marymount University’s School for Film and Television. He also served as an instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles’ Summer Institute, and offers private screenwriting coaching services as well.
D.C. holds an MFA from the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC and a BA in English from Harvard College. A classically trained baritone and avid amateur baker, D.C. resides in Los Angeles, CA.
